the leap years

Hey people! I just came back from Marina Square. I would love to shop at there once 'O' level ends. Back to the main point. I went there to catch The Leap Years! It is a really touching movie and it is definitely worthwhile to watch it again. Wong Li-Lin portrays the character Li-Ann very well. Her acting skils are very natural and along with Ananda Everingham, their love story is well painted. Undeniable, Joan Chen also did a great job despite her short screentime. Another point to highlight will be the lovely songs and instrumental music used.

Li-Ann is a brave girl that believes in waiting for her dream guy, who is being nicknamed as the blue whale. She met this dream guy, Jeremy at the age of four on February 29. They promised to meet every February 29, same time, same place, which is at the Windows Cafe. Love at first sight. They had this very hidden and special connection between them...

I cried thrice while watching The Leap Years. This is highly recommended to those who believes in love, to fans of Wong Li-Lin and readers of Dr Catherine Lim. I rate this production four out of five.

P.S. I saw Wong Li-Lin filming this movie a few years ago. Hehe. I have been a fan of her since young when I watch her drama serials. And, I just found out that she shares the same birthday (August 30) with my two other favourite actresses, Tavia Yeung and Niki Chow. Is it that I adore actress whom are born on this special date, or is it pure coincidence.

Trailer (:
